  The Pheasant at Ballinger Common is now run by new owner, Jane King who has revitalised this attractive pub-restaurant.
Her goal is to create a relaxing and friendly atmosphere in which to dine or simply enjoy a drink with family and friends.

The local inhabitants are just pleased that they have been given back their 'local' which had become just another restaurant.

Delightfully refurbished and with a new restaurant called Hatters (Jane was a Milliner) The Pheasant is now a joy to visit. Attention to detail is always paramount in Jane's mind and this is evident in the way the restaurant has been furnished and presented.

The emphasis is clearly on making the ambiance relaxing and perfect for intimate dining.

 We have a new menu designed by Andrew Parkinson,
The Chief Executive Chef from Jamie Olivers Restaurant Fifteen,
Cooked by our Head Chef Aaron Callaby.

The Lunch menu can be enjoyed in the main bar as well as the restaurant and will suit those wanting preferring something on the lighter side. If you prefer, you can wander out onto the patio that overlooks the gardens. 

The main aim was to make The Pheasant a real 'destination bar and restaurant' that's worth making the journey for. T his has been achieved this and The Pheasant looks certain to become extremely popular under her tenure.

Opening times: Tuesday to Saturday evening from 6.30. Wednesday to Sunday lunchtime from 12noon.

 

Food is served:

Lunchtimes: Wednesday to Saturday 12noon till 2.30pm.  Sunday: 12noon till 3pm.

Evenings: Tuesday - Saturday 7pm - 9.30pm
